Sailing Charters Although stories abound of visitors experiencing a bad time on the water due to unscrupulous charter operators, there is no better way to enjoy the Keys than on, in, under or over the water, and lots of safe, reliable, charters to take you there, help you have a great time, and get you back to shore safely. Like us, these folks want you to have a good time so that you will tell all of your friends about us and want to come back again yourselves. Key West is alleged to have the largest schooner fleet south of the Chesapeake Bay, so consider going along on one for a sunset cruise. Seaplanes of Key West Seeing the Keys from the air is something everyone should do at least once, just as you should get out on the water at least once and drive the side roads off the Overseas Highway. Helicopters are one way to go. We recommend caution since there have been a number of accidents, mostly fatal, with both fixed wing aircraft, ultra-lights and helicopters in the past few years. If you want to take to the air and have an adventure of a lifetime touring Fort Jefferson National Park in the Dry Tortugas, we would recommend you try Seaplanes of Key West which operates sea planes out of Key West Airport. Oh, and take your snorkel gear. Half-day and all day trips available. Call us for current rates. |
