Las Vegas, Nevada

So we are currently parked in our motor coach with our cats in the Las Vegas RV Resort on South Nellis Boulevard in the shadow of Frenchman mountain, a chip's throw from the infamous "strip." We are new to the southwest and getting used to the moods of the mountains and the dry of the desert air, just as we had to get used to the moods of the water and the heavy moistness of the air when we moved to the Keys from Washington, D.C.

We are new to the southwest, having arrived here after crossing the southern edge of country from the Keys just before the holidays. We do not yet know Las Vegas as well as we did the Keys after so many years there, but we are fast learners, and will soon be able to recommend the best places to stay, the best shows to see (not something we had to do in the Keys), the best places to eat, and the best things to do.

But no need to wait. If your idea of paradise is a casino, or a desert or mountain view, or some of the best live entertainment anywhere, call us. We will be happy to help plan your trip to "Sin City," and now is a great time to come!
