The Crowne Plaza Universal is located just off
International Drive and within minutes great shopping and a wide range of restaurants as
well as all of Orlando's major entertainment attractions.
The architecture of the hotel is lovely and combines Park Avenue
elegance of New York with the chic deco of Miami's South Beach, combining brushed metal
with polished soft woods and classic tile, tones and tints of dusty pink, hushed lavender
and quiet gray and blue. The hotel has two distinctive elements: one wing that houses the
conference center and most of the guest rooms, and an Atrium Tower that features guest
rooms and suites arranged around a 15 story circular atrium accessed by high-speed glass
elevators. (Note: If you are at all afraid of heights, you will want to request
accommodations in the main wing, which can be accessed by traditional enclosed elevators.)
Because of its location, amenities and decor, we found the Crown
Plaza Universal a wonderful place to stay. What moved it to the top of our list of Orlando
accommodations was the level of knowledge and care provided us by the hotel's staff,
especially its concierge staff, who took the time to learn about our interests and needs
and guide us along our way.

Serbo-Croatian, Spanish and Turkish). Amenities include: outdoor pool and whirlpool, health/fitness center, cocktail lounge and 2
restaurants, ATM/cash machine and foreign currency exchange, concierge services, dry
cleaning pickup/laundry, giift shop and newsstand, ice machine, baby-sitting, on-site
guest self-laundry facilities (washer/dryer), porter/bellman, safety deposit box available
at front desk, secretarial services, room service, business services: copying, E-mail,
internet, facsimile, printer, executive suites, private limousine and complimentary and
valet parking.
